Write Your Own Pre-Inspection Briefing: Using RAISE Online to prepare for the NEW Inspection

Who is the course suitable for?
All leaders in mainstream Primary, First and Middle Schools, including subject leaders, inclusion managers and Leadership Teams

Course overview
This course uses the data from RAISE Online including any new tables and charts, and links them to the requirements of the new Ofsted Inspection. It offers full guidance for the interpretation of each chart, and how to cross reference the school’s outcomes with the quality of provision and impact of leadership.

By the end of the day, each delegate will have produced a full and individualised Pre Inspection Briefing for their school, using the data from the new RAISE. They will have highlighted areas of both provision and leadership which will be likely focuses for Ofsted, and actions which may well be needed.
Delegates will gain practical strategies for accurate self evaluation from data, and how to interpret the data in the light of the context of the school. They will be able to consider their provision and leadership judgements, and come to robust conclusions, using data to support their arguments.

The Pre inspection Briefing will be an excellent support for any school when writing or updating Self Evaluation, and will be an accurate focus for discussion with any groups of stakeholders, including SIPs, Governors and Local Authority officers.
