Using Data to Support Self Evaluation

This one day programme has been designed to support colleagues in the use of data for effective school self evaluation. It offers the opportunity to look at school specific data, and to analyse what it may be saying about context, standards, progress and achievement.

During the day, a range of strategies and tools for self evaluation will be given. Colleagues will be able to use their own data to determine the impact of the contextual factors of the school, and to evaluate the true nature of achievement. Time will be given to relate the outcomes of the school to the quality of the provision itself.

Aspects of the programme include:

Interpreting RAISEonline and other data for self evaluation purposes
Using the school’s context to support judgements
Supporting achievement judgements for self evaluation in a clear and focused way
Evaluating outcomes against provision
Evaluating the overall effectiveness of the school
